💟Rescue Story: Soy was found on a hot summer day in 2022. He was found chained up in the blistering heat without water, shelter or any kind of shade.

He was in a dangerous environment with tons of junk and metal all around. As if that isn’t bad enough, the rescuers learned that he was abused by the owner and eventually going to be slaughtered for meat at first the owner did not want to surrender them, but after constant persuasion, they were SAVED.

Once rescued Soy went to a training facility to decompress.
He is being trained, desensitized/socialized, leash walking, crating, bathing and he is an ✨ALL STAR STUDENT.
He’s great on a leash and enjoys leisurely walks. He’s also great with his dog roommates/friends and we’d like to find a home with another confident doggie sibling.
He’s been tested with small animals and seems uninterested.

As one might expect, Soy has trauma and is shy at first with people.
BUT with time, patience, love and care, he comes around and builds a relationship.
He has great manners around people and we’re told he has a calm disposition.
