Jay, his littermates and his mama (Dolly) were found in absolutely disgusting conditions – feces, dirt, trash and these babies were only 2 weeks old and being raised for meat. Luckily the rescuer was able to get the man to surrender the whole family and get them the help and care they needed.
Jay is very similar to his brother Sugar (available for adoption) – so sweet. The rescue told us he, too, has a gentle disposition. He loves to play and loves food and treats. As with all puppies, he’s a curious little guy and would love to be in a home with another dog to learn and play with. Luckily, he was rescued as a young pup and didn’t endure the trauma that many meat trade survivors have. He loves attention from people.

Remember – puppies require a lot of time and attention. They need training, socialization and a family with a lot of patience. We want FOREVER homes and want people to be aware of the dedication and TIME needed.
