Personality
Caramel is a calm, gentle, and soft-natured boy with a quiet personality.
He can be a little shy at first, especially in new situations,
but he does not avoid people and prefers staying nearby once he feels comfortable.
He is not the type of puppy to immediately run up and demand attention. Instead,
he quietly follows his caregivers around or sits calmly beside them, happy simply being close to people he trusts.
Caramel gets along very well with other dogs and has also done well around children.
He has a peaceful and easygoing temperament that would fit beautifully into a calm and loving home.
Among his siblings — Choco (formerly Tayo), Vanilla, Enzo, and Latte — Caramel is the one who looks the most like Vanilla
Rescue Story
Caramel and his siblings were rescued together in Korea after their mother was found living in difficult conditions near a livestock shed.
Thankfully, the family was rescued before the puppies faced the dangers many stray dogs experience.
One by one, all of his siblings have now found forever homes.
Caramel is the last one still waiting for his own family.
Energy Level
Medium-Low
Caramel enjoys companionship and outdoor walks, but overall he has a calm and quiet personality.

* Caramel has never lived as an only dog or in a home environment yet, as he has been staying at a boarding facility with many other dogs.
Because of this, it is difficult to fully evaluate whether he may experience separation anxiety once in a home.
However, he currently does not show obvious signs of separation anxiety in his current environment.
Ideal Home
Caramel would do best in a patient and loving home that understands shy or gentle dogs and allows him time to slowly adjust at his own pace.
His rescuer especially feels he would thrive with a kind, calm family who will continue helping him build confidence and feel safe.
Because he can initially feel uncertain in unfamiliar outdoor environments,
we recommend giving him time to settle indoors with his family first before introducing busy outside activities and walks.
