Gia was rescued from a kill shelter in Korea just before her scheduled euthanasia.
After her rescue, she moved directly into a boarding foster environment, where she has continued to impress everyone with her calm, adaptable personality and sweet nature.
Although we don’t know what her life was like before entering the shelter, Gia has remained incredibly resilient and has embraced every new experience with quiet confidence.

Personality & Temperament
Gia is the definition of a well-balanced companion.
She enjoys playtime and spending time with people, but she also knows how to relax and quietly enjoy everyday life.
She isn’t overly energetic or overly reserved—she naturally finds a happy balance between the two.
She loves people and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. While she may not immediately run up to greet strangers,
she isn’t fearful or shy. Instead, Gia prefers to quietly observe new people before deciding they’re her friend.
Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality begins to shine.
She’ll gently come over for pets, nuzzle close, touch your face with her nose, and happily give kisses.
Watching her confidence grow is one of the sweetest parts of getting to know her.
New environments can make Gia a little cautious at first, but she adjusts quickly.
Given a day or two and a little patience, she settles in beautifully and begins acting as though she’s always belonged.

Her caregiver notes that she especially enjoys playing with dogs who match her personality and energy.
Because of her adaptable nature, intelligence, and stable temperament, we believe Gia would also be a wonderful choice for first-time dog owners.
Like many rescue dogs, she’ll appreciate a family that allows her to settle in at her own pace.
Rather than expecting immediate affection, giving Gia the time to build trust naturally will allow her sweet, loving personality to blossom.

Why You’ll Love Gia
Gia isn’t the loudest dog in the room.
She won’t demand attention or constantly ask to be the center of everything.
Instead, she’ll quietly become your shadow.
The gentle kiss on your hand.
The little nose boop to your cheek.
The peaceful companion beside you after a long day.
Gia is the kind of dog whose love grows deeper with each passing day—and once she gives you her heart, it’s yours forever.
